Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom.
Let not the mighty man glory in his might.
Let not the rich man glory in his riches,
But let them glory and delight
In Him who sits in the heavens,
In Him who calls the stars by name,

In Him who is always the same.

Let not the woman glory in her beauty.
Let not the woman glory in many friends.
Let not the woman glory in her position,
But let her glory in one Man.

His love alone can satisfy.

His love alone can heal the wounded heart.
His love alone brings warmth in the cold.

What are you hiding that you must pose?
What are you hiding that causes fear?
What are you hiding behind that masquerade?
What are you hiding that causes your tears?

Your enemy may seem great.

Your enemy may cause you fear,
But your enemy will soon be gone.
