MY FATHER'S PLAN & DISCIPLINE song

My father's plan and discipline.

My father has a plan for me. His plan is good and it is right. His plan was conceived when he first thought of me. Way back in eternity, I am secure in my father's love.

He ever watches over me. He's teaching me his way. I will walk with him each day, till my days here are over. But sometimes I don't follow his way.

And discipline my father must bring. His rod of reproof causes much pain, but no needless tears his child brings. His purposes are kind, his wisdom so high. How could I ever find fault? My father knows every deed measured and known.

I will be more like Jesus. But to conform me to the image of his son, will only be done in glory. My father has a plan for me. His plan is good and it is right. This plan was conceived when He first thought of me way back in eternity.

His purposes are grand, His wisdom's all right. How could I ever find fault? My Father knows that with each measured blow, my life will be more like Jesus. My life will be more like Jesus, my Lord.
