PRIMARY AssoCIATION.-Probably Hezekiah's "Song." Its scope is best understood in light of 2 Chron. x:xix.-xxxi. He pictures the departing congregation of happy worshippers saluting, the priests and Levites who are to re1nain watching in the temple. In 3 we hear the voice of the priestly leader responding with the usual blessing. This interchange of salutation and exhortation suitably ends a notable group of psalms. PROPHETIC ANTicIPATION.-Clearly millennial, with Israel seen in the new sanctuary. Night brings no cessation to the constant flow of praise from the happy redeemed people of God. PERSONAL APPLICATION.-The scene is distinctly Jewish. Christians now enjoy the privilege of entering the true sanctuary (the heav´nly) by faith, and with full assurance of heart by the "newly-slain and living way" to worship in spirit and in truth. Blessed as Israel's portion will be, that of the Christian is immeasurably superior, but God and the Lamb are the objects of worship of the redeemed people in all ages. Make a habit of worship.
